Advanced 3D measurements with Conoscopic Holography

Ignacio Alvarez is PhD in Industrial Engineering, and Associate Professor at University of Oviedo in Spain. Co-founder of DSIplus (now part of CinSystems Group), he has dedicated most of his 30 year career to the research and development of innovative methods for defects detection and parts measurement in on-line processes, using machine vision approaches and Conoscopic Holography.

He has written more than 15 papers in specialized journals, and participated in more than 10 R&D projects at European and National level.
