Calibration technology for tomography

Jon Martin is a mechanical engineer with a Master in manufacturing processes. He also has a specialization in Machine Tools and Manufacturing in Industry 4.0. Jon has a broad knowledge of the computed tomography with a project on “Study of computed tomography for the dimensional measurement in the X-Cube compact machine”. He works for Trimek as an application developer for the tomography technology.

Naiara Ortega is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of the Basque Country since 2011. She defended his Doctoral thesis in 2005 and, since 2007, she is part of the High-Performance Manufacturing Group, headed by Luis Norberto López de Lacalle. From then on, she has been working closely with the aeronautics industry, specifically in the field of precision technologies for aeronautical components with low machinability. Now she is member of the Technological Committee of the Aeronautics Advanced Manufacturing Centre.
